Mr. Takeshi Teragaki, the developer of the Teragaki Speaker, pointed out a fundamental problem with conventional audio speakers: when electrical amplification became possible, we abandoned the simple and pure vibration amplifiers of horn-type phonographs.

He also noted that the chirping of insects like bell crickets and mole crickets is created by resonating the friction sound of a small, thin internal spring throughout their bodies, producing an unexpectedly powerful sound. Inspired by this natural principle, he developed a device that reproduces and amplifies sound in harmony with nature.

As a result, the structure of the Teragaki Speaker is remarkably simple. Returning to the origin of sound, it employs carefully selected materials and shapes optimized for amplifying micro-vibrations.
